UP-UPDATE on U.S., Mexico & Canada Merger
09.28.06 (5:24 pm)   [edit]

Top U.S. Official Chaired N.American-Confab Panel in Official Capacity..

"At the recent high-level confab of the North American Forum in Banff, an assistant U.S. secretary of state chaired a panel that featured a presentation by Prof. Robert Pastor, author of a book promoting the development of a North American union as a regional government and the adoption of the amero as a common monetary currency to replace the dollar and the peso."

Okay, this is getting a little more chilling for us We the Peoples, ya know?!  Because it's getting alot of news coverage right now, it would behoove our country's top non-nwo attorney's to have a look-see about the legality of this super-merger.  Otherwise, I'm reluctant to announce, we may be toast!

Just an aside from yesterday's hearing in the House regarding Detainee Treatment and Trials where the members are haggling over the wordage of the bill repubes are desperate to torpedo through - just a minor scrap over the fact that in the present bill the President gets to define who is or is not an "enemy combatant."  Nice, you say, because you vividly remember him saying something to the effect that 'you're either with us, or against us, in our WAR ON TERRORISM!, already.  Ohhhh, that's right.  He did also say something about domestic terrorists, too, like in me or you.  Now, if there's no distinction in the bill's wording as to Americans being exempt from this new bill, then what does that say?   Thankfully, Rep. Jerry Nadler spoke up about this omission and said if the prez gets to call all the shots and definitions, it will virtually make him a dic.., ohhhh, noooo, you're not going to get me to say the word no one else in Congress dares to say, save Rep. Nadler.

Something or someone is out of control and needs to be reined in before someone comes up with another word to describe Prezdementia.

Helloooooo, Sanemen, where art thou?!?

Edited to add link to article.

UPDATE on the U.S., Mexico & Canada Merger.. don't look good..
09.28.06 (4:55 pm)   [edit]

We now know there's more to this US, Mexico & Canada merger viz Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) through FOIA requests by Jerome Corsi at WorldNetDaily (WND).  More than 1,000 pages of documents have been released to Corsi.  One of the things Corsi discovered was an "internal Intranet website that has never been revealed to Congress or the public.  This private internal website," he claims, "undoubtedly contains a wealth of documentation that the FOIA request has so far intentionally excluded."

Judicial Watch also received documents by FOIA requests that included an organizational chart.
If you're a Lou Dobbs fan, this is what he had to say about it.

I've decided to reserve judgment on this alleged shadow .government until I've been able to research it better.  Some say it's a merger and some say it's basically a security plan much like the European Union.  I guess time will tell.

Besides, if the .gov says, 'Trust Us, we're doing whatever we can to protect our nation and we have only our citizens best welfare in mind, I really ought to believe them and shut my mind to any other unamerican notion,' right?

I don't think sooooo.

And, waiting to hear the thoughts of my astute readers.  C'mon now..

If Afghanistan Doesn't Work Out for him, Karzai Can Always Jump Back Into the Frying Pan Biz..
09.26.06 (5:35 am)   [edit]

If he just hadn't told the audience at the Woodrow Wilson Constitutional Center today that Wilson was an internationalist, I'd have let this go, but.....no.  Then he made it worse by adding, "..what we would like the US to be all the time."  More internationalist, that is.  Hmmm....too bad I had a handful of M&M's because if it were anything else, I'd be scraping it off the TV now instead of typing.  One does not sacrifice chocolate.  This was all made worse because Lee Hamilton (of the 9-11 Commission) introduced him.

I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing, but it irks me whenever I see him (Karzai) talking now.  His affectations and inflection of speech drives me crazy.  It's probably because I can't get it out of my mind that there's a good chance Prez Karzai was groomed by our .gov to become the first democratic president of Afghanistan.  Arrrgh.  Honestly, I try to put him in Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation, crawling along the tundra, scaling mountains and riding the rivers (are there rivers in Afghanistan? heh heh) into battle, but, nope, it's not there.

Instead, I see him in the Baltimore, MD, Karzai family restaurant waiting tables.  Yes.. but without the tapered, upside down coffee filter on his head.  And the fake accent.  Oh, I'm sure he most certainly took extended vacations in his home country over the years..  before our .gov got a hold of him and made him an offer he couldn't refuse.    So, he opened a flower shoppe in Kabul that...  hah hah  I mean.. he agreed to a Cliff Notes course on Afghanistan hah hah  I'm sorry.  See?  I'm impossible when it comes to Karzai - you will be, too, the next time you watch him on the boobtube.   Especially when he starts talking about the WAR ON TERRORISM!  Especially when you catch him talking American, and using American expressions and slang-o.

Seriously, it's to be taken seriously.  Why has the MSM constantly avoided bringing up his Americanization?  Is it possible that some astute sleuth will uncover the real facts surrounding the election of Karzai and what possible benefit it may bring his handlers?  Mayb e they just like flowers.  LOTS OF THEM!

But more importantly, why is everything having to do with .gov contrived?  Why so few degrees of separation ensconsed in the political arena?  Why all the *wink* and a *nod* and *I'll watch your 6 & 12*?   I must not be the only one asking these questions.  There's been an increase in watchdog organizations and a new call for transparency - as evidenced by SourceWatch, Congresspedia, and the Sunlight Foundation, to name a few.  What's different about these endeavors is that they're "home-grown," being created by fellow Americans who want an honest and transparent .government.   This is very encouraging.  There is hope in getting our country back on the right track.

However, he comes off as being Prez Bush's mouth-piece for hawking globalization.  Now I ask you.  Does it seem like a topic for a newly elected president with more urgent matters to tend to?  Like helping us eradicate the Taliban popping up everywhere in Afghanistan?  Besides, globalization isn't going to work for Americans.  We like to work, put bread on the table, clothe our family and put a roof over our heads.  That takes steady work.  Because of our work ethic, we won't put up with any entity leveling the playing field by out-sourcing jobs overseas.   (And don't even get me going about service calls to India where you can't understand a single word they're saying and they constantly put you on hold while blasting music into your already fuming ears!!)  I anticipate readers sharing their views on internationalism, globalization, and global goverance; I welcome it.  I vacillate over this concept myself.  I feel it depends alot on the honesty and integrity of the actors in an environment of fair trade.  Big difference between fair and free trade, as far as I'm concerned.

I stumbled across this article on a website of questionable political affiliation, but found it interesting and thought-provoking.

But tell me, why is Lee Hamilton popping up everywhere like a carnival duck shoot target, hunh? Huh?!

U.S., Mexico & Canada Merger
09.20.06 (11:12 pm)   [edit]

I think the reason I'm oposed to this so-called U.S./Mexico/Canada merger (  http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52063" title="http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52063" target="_blank"http://www.worldnetdaily.com/...   )  into the North American Union is because it's being established under the radar, without Congressional knowledge, and formed out of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.  The fact that the Prez hasn't shared this proposed North American Union (  http://americandaily.com/article/15565" title="http://americandaily.com/article/15565" target="_blank"http://americandaily.com/arti...  ) with We the People raises questions as to the authority he has to void, rescind, and make defunk our national sovereignty.

Another  wake-up call as to who's running the show.
We, the People,
or,
He, the richard-tator.

House Flip-Flop on Tribunal Vote
09.20.06 (9:03 pm)   [edit]

Anyone else raise their eyebrow on this one?  Hours after rejecting a Bush administration propoal on the military tribunals, the House flip-flopped and approved the proposal!

Ahhhh, the benefits of domestic surveillance rears its ugly head?  Oh, shut up, Pop, you really don't believe Congress can be bribed because the NSA holds their deep, dark secrets, do you?

Well, do you?!

VOTER BEWARE! No photo, No voto..
09.20.06 (8:27 pm)   [edit]

This one beats the band, folks.  Today, the House of Our Esteemed Representatives voted 228-196 to require us, you know, us Americans, to show proof of citizenship in order to vote in November 2010 [thanks to tfruge1 for date correction].  Nice.  Just nice, of them to wait until a few weeks before elections to inform us that we need proof of who we are - AMERICANS! - mind you - because of all the illegal immigrants on our soil that are not allowed to vote, but could if they have illegal driver's licenses.

Nice.  On the surface it appears we should break out the champagne and celebrate that our reps have finally done something - anything - to show they care (har) about our concerns over all the illegals here siphoning up our resources.  Mind you, all, before jumping me from behind a bush, that I say "illegals" and not those immigrants who are here legally.

The only problem with this surprise vote so close to voting time, is that some Americans don't have passports, the favored ID of our reps, and now there's probably not enough time for Americans to obtain them before election day.  Nice.

Nice, too, that maybe, *maybe* mind you, some polls will accept driver's licenses as proof.  The only problem with this is that about 10% of Americans don't drive.  Take that, along with the fact that only around 40% of Americans vote, and you can see why this was not very well thought out.

Or, was it?  Think of all the Americans who won't be able to vote that will actually help the Republicans stay in office.

Nice.

Illustrious Leader Wrong On Most Important Job
09.15.06 (5:17 pm)   [edit]

I've been following the back-and-forth going on between Congress and the Prez over the proper way to conduct trials for those detainees accused of war crimes against the US, but I've been solidly behind Sen. Lindsey Graham's take on how it should be done.  Graham, myself, is the only senator that has experience as a mulitary judge and is likely to know a tad more than..say.. his......  his detractors.

With all due respect deserving of the President of our United States, I'm picking a bone about what the Prez said yesterday to House Republicans.  He was there to thank the House Armed Services Committee for going along with his demands reccommendations to "track and try" terrorism suspects.

He said, "I reminded them (House Repubs) that the most important job of .government is to protect the homeland."

Funny, but I thought the .gov's most important job was to do the will of the People.

Anyone want to bitch-slap me or something?

09.14.06 (10:29 pm)   [edit]

Just spent some time commenting on your comments to me, hit the *post* icon and *poof* went my comments with a nice little note from tBlog that my comments contained some unacceptable element.  WTF, does that mean?

Anyway, if it has to do with trying to embed a link in a comment to a comment, here's the link I sent you.  I must condense my thoughts here since I lost the ^&^$%^##$ post.

I stumbled upon this paper while looking for Stalin's White Paper on Semantics.  I'm doing a little research on the mechanisms involved in using the techniques. Ummm..heh heh. It worked for him!  Anyway, if you do get a chance to read it, I'd be very interested in knowing what you think about it, eh matey?

Here she blows!

We, as American Guinea Pigs...?
09.14.06 (7:09 pm)   [edit]

[Help, help me, someone!  I'm behind the wall under the bed in the Twilight Zone!  Yell ]

I'm sorry, folks.  Time to check the Kool-Aid supplies, because I'm about ready to start screaming, "BEAM ME UP, SCOTTY!!"

Headline:  Air Force Chief: Test Weapons on Americans.

What a preposterous stateme nt by an Air Force Chief, no less.  This defies all semblance of sanity left in our illustrious leaders.  It conjures up images, at least in my mind, of crazy mad scientists like Dr.  Sidney Gottlieb in a CIA Lab buried deep down in the bowels of the earth, drooling and wild-eyed, leaning over some poor chap wondering do pliers really hurt what's in the needle, and Hitler's Dr. Josef Mengele, infamous for his atrocious medical experiments at Auschwitz.  That an Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne would even suggest such a thing is beyong comprehension, but his rationale, "If we're not willing to use it here against our fellow citizens, then we should not be willing to use it in a wartime situation," is nothing short of lunacy.  (Shall I be first?  Bwwwwaaaaaahahahahahahaha h!)  Unless, of course, he's simply pulling our leg.

Somehow I doubt it.  Why?  Because we've been part of the manufacturing of political control devices that are used around the world. That's why.  Think about that.   The use of science and technology to devise new efficient mark-free interrogation and torture technologies and their proliferation from the US and Europe; chemical, kinetic and electrical weapons - all carrying a White Housekeeping stamp of approval..? Mercy!  Are they nucking futz, or what?  It was only a matter of time before they got around to US.  Mwaaaaaaahaha ha-hah!

We really need to band together now, AS IN NOW, to convince our Congressional representatives to put a stop to this outrageous assault on Americans coming from all directions or risk waking the Sleeping Giant.   Or, am I the nut and everyone else is A-OK?   Chime in, and let's bell the cat together, what do you say?

More Like a War of Convenience..
09.13.06 (12:13 am)   [edit]

So there you have it.  The day after the airing of 2 controversial takes on 9-11, one, a docu-drama (docu-drama, like what the h*ll is that?) supposedly rife with fabrications, the other a real documentary on the firefighters at Ground Zero; a couple of things show up on the political contrivosphere screen.  First, the drop in gas prices across the nation.  Well, well, well.  I'm shocked that the prices are coming down so fast, especially 2 months from election time.  NOT. I'm surprised they showed their hand.  Actually, I'm shocked and truly annoyed that the masses haven't stormed the gates yet and pulled the weasels out of their rocking-mentality-chairs for a comeuppance far too long overdue.  I'll agitate the tar, baby.  I likes it HOT.  The hotter the better the batter will stick.

Because gas prices have fallen, I want to know precisely why. Who's running scared?  What's
ready to pop?  If you listen to
Chavez, he'll tell you it's not crazy to dig deeper into the
mystery of 9-11.  If you read
Keith Olbermann, you'll learn why he shouts in the general
direction of the White House and its participants and bellows, "HOW DARE YOU!!" My dear
mother would say there's something in the air.  I hope it's the smell of tar.

Let's just have a fairy tale moment here and pretend the price drop is "legit", meaning
it's a quasi-ripoff, wouldn't we want to find out who's manipulating the prices in favor
of the incumbants?  You know, there's a slight possibility that it has nothing to do
with the Prez and more like those in his tent.  I say "tent" to differentiate between
the lessers who reside within CONUS and the majors outside the gates, with both having a
camel in the race, so to speak. That way we could kill 2 birds with one stone.
(Note to reader: I had to do everything in my power not to type "2 turds with one flush".)
Namely, know who's been tinkering with gas prices all along, with or without the Prezzes
knowledge, and reveal once and for all the
business relationship between the Bushes,
bin Ladens, and the Saudis.  With this information in hand, we might be able to prove the
collusion between the Prez and/or the Admin-BadBoys and the real Gasman, the motive,
the money trail and voila! solve the 9-11 mystery once and for all.

Then we can use that tar, wheeeeeeeeeeee!!

But, wait, not so fast.  Remember this is just a fairy tale moment, so move along now.
Nothing to see here, gitalongdoggies! *whip*

Then, there's what follows..

* beg life *
09.09.06 (6:16 pm)   [edit]

beg life

We drink, 'til distant friends arrive
rise out of range, loom ghostly
recede again.

A thought walks in, asks
and what of life?
"..aging, sea change, choosing"
always choosing
one more Dutch door,
then drifting, drifting
toward another endless chore.

We walk this lunar beach - beg life
from birth to earth's end,
to learn what good come from this, when
despair will reign the soul to cry

&

We die to love,
we weep for joy -
our worst our best,
we love to death -

Life's a beach
combed clean,
unless you know the time of birth
of a single wave -

Spartan thoughts fuel our bloated bodies
engorged with luxuries,
double helpings, a thin line drawn too fat
reflects mournings - too many mirrored warnings -
and oh God we beg for more..
we beg for more..

&

Life's a drama
then we die -
beached whales
done in by our own wailings.

There is no end to beginnings
start line or finish lines,
we're all finished
in the end,

We do not heed Heaven's plea -
save the plankton!

Grrrr, Tony Snow: My mind you do not know!
09.09.06 (4:20 am)   [edit]

Well, it happened again today during Tony Snow's White House daily brief, as he read the Prez's schedule for next week which included a number of 9-11 commemorative speeches.  A reporter asked Snow if he didn't think these speeches would be interpreted by the public to be a political ploy so close to election time.  Snow, of course, said "No."  Followed by "the American people know that it's not political" as I raised my arm up to throw my french fry at Tony.  I'm so tired of Tony telling me what I think.   In that sarcastic tone.  Not the condescending tone peppered in tricksy titters.

Now, Tony this is what I think:  I think any speech by the Prez at any public 9-11 commemoration is political.  He's our Prez and hangs his hat on the Republican Party's trunk (in the living room) and that party is political!   What's so hard to understand about that?  And for pete's sake, don't assume I have no sympathy or empathy for Everyone who suffered great personal loss on that day (an avoidable carnage according to honest intel insiders, my reason for sounding frosted).

The whole idea of a pubic 5th Anniversary in memory of the 9-11 victims is abhorrent to me.
Especially since everything to do with 9-11 seems so contrived.  Talking points: Every sentence must include "Americans think," "war," and "terror" x13. If you ask me, personal tragedies occurring in the public arena is still a personal tragedy and I, as well as most people I know, do these sorts of things in remembrance of great sadness in private, away from glaring eyes and spectacle. But then again, I'm normal. I expect to heal slowly from a loss, cry & wail while appropriate and let the memory slide down into the back of my mind, to be brought out at some future time, and not necessarily on the anniversary of the actual date I experienced it.  But.  I don't expect the political contrivosphere to get that.  Probably because I don't need a spotlight to tap dance. We could ask why there's no public anniversary commemor ations for TWA800, the flight that crashed outside NYC, and the like.  It seems to me that 9-11 has been selected as our demarcation line, a test case if you will, to see whether Americans are willing to accept an endless war in which our civil liberties have come to an end.  Nothing in our country's past has warranted such an extreme reaction.  A test case to find out if Americans will reclaim the "We/By/For" in We the People, By the People, For the People.

We/By/For or Four/by/Four,
We/By/For won't take No More,
We/By/For show you the Door,
We/By/For will Reign Once More!

I wish a bona fide psychiatrist with expertise in public debacles involving hundreds of deaths
would explain the process of grieving to those in the public/political arena so they'd stop the absurdity of worshipping tragedies.  Oh, it would help if it were a pre-Modernist psychiatrist who actually sticks to traditional concepts and leaves the bong in the closet until it's all worked out on paper....

It's considered healthy to express strong emotions around the time of tragedy, then outwards of a year or so with emotions settling down into acceptance of the loss.  I mean, we have a word such as "healing" for a reason, thusly:  ;

(Definition) HEAL: 1a) to make sound or whole, b) to restore to health, 2a) to cause to
be overcome; mend, b) to patch up, 3) to restore to original purity or integrity, to return
to a sound state.

For the .government to think it's appropriate to bring up this grievous tragedy year after year is to inject a slab of suspicion as to the motives of doing so.  How does it benefit public figures
to dig up horrible memories and build shrines around someone else's personal experience of grief? I can see doing something special publicly on the 1st anniversary of 9-11 to allow the public to show remembrance for the lives lost in the attack along with empathy and respect for those coping with their losses.  Let family, friends and their immediate community do whatever is appropriate but away from the spotlights.  You know, like we always handled things like this before; with dignity and in private.

To do otherwise is to exploit fear and hinder healing.  To what end?

(gulp) Mea culpa..
09.09.06 (2:35 am)   [edit]

There's a reason the sage admonishes us to never say "never" and in my case, that it's not wise to tell your readership that you plan to "post here regularly" and then - poof - disappear out of sight!  (Hmmm, maybe someone has invented an Instant Repeller device..?)

I won't bore you with lame*ss excuses like I caught my hand in the kitchen Dis-Posal unit, or I was hoisted on my own petard - hard.ly!  Nothing as dramatic as that, really.

It was just a run-of-the-mill happenstance not worthy of accolades or a parade*.  A dumb thing, really.  Although I got an 8.5 from bystanders.   I'm sure you've seen it a half-dozen times by now.

All right then, without further ado.  You know that TV commercial where the guy in the boat smashes into the dock while a couple is sitting in their comfy home talking about insurance - and he's catapulted out of camera range?   Well, I'm that guy......and what they don't tell you is that one of my safety lines was severed and I actually flew 1001 feet through the air...and it was amazing the pine trees didn't stop me as I sliced through them as I approached landing.  I had my wheels down...heh heh...the ones that wrapped around my ankles as I was dragged through some backyard with a kid's tricycle smack dap in the middle of my runway....heh heh...except my wheels feet never actually touched ground for another 606 feet...until the co-producer saw me in his rearview mirror coming at him like a bullet as he was driving away from the set.  I got close enough to the car to see (I'm a bullet, remember?) his horrified look in the rearview mirror looking at me looking horrified - when - at the same time - we realized my other safety line was hooked to the car's back bumper!  Thank G_d, he reacted quickly and slammed on his brakes, preventing me from slicing through the car, back to front, deer-gutting through both windshields allowing me to whizz and wing up and over up and over up and finally over the (not quite) tops of those same @%^#$& pine trees which branches seemed to grab me like arms until I slowed down enough to finally settle on a branch where frozen in disbelief spitting pine needles out my mouth (and I think my nose) to a place where I actually started to breath again.  And, wouldn't you know it, at the end of my first sigh the branch broke off and I fell 20 feet to the ground.  At the end of my second sigh, I woke up in the hospital.  And I just have to tell you this one thing - DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!  I'm an experienced stunt man, and obviously, you aren't, and could get hurt.

The above is all a lie.  No, really.  But I can tell you it's alot more colorful than any lame*ss excuse I could come up with!  So please cut me some slack, y'all?  Laughing

*A Get-Well card would be nice.
